How To Remove McAfee on Windows 10 using Settings

1. Open Settings on your computer. You find it by searching in the search bar at the bottom right corner of your screen.
   
   
2. On the settings page, select Apps.
   
   
3. Click on McAfee and select Uninstall. 
   
   
4. A confirmation popup will appear, click Uninstall. You may get asked for the administrator’s permission, allow it.
   
   
5. Select your McAfee product and click on Remove.
   • If you want to remove all files of McAfee including subscription information and settings, mark the checkbox “Remove all files from this program…..”.
     
6. Once the uninstallation process completes, restart your computer.
   
   

How To Uninstall McAfee using Control Panel

1. Download the McAfee Removal Tool (MCPR) from the McAfee website. 
2. Once the download is finished, open MCPR.exe.
3. A permission prompt will appear, choose Yes to continue. 
4. Click on Next at the bottom right corner of the app window.
   
   
5. Click on Agree, and Next.
   
   
6. Type in the characters in the given field and click on Next.
   
   
7. Wait until the uninstallation process completes.

How To Uninstall McAfee on a Mac

1. Navigate and open the Applications folder from the dock. You can also open it from the Finder. 
2. Launch the McAfee Internet Security Uninstaller software.
3. To delete the McAfee web browser add-on, select the Uninstall SiteAdvisor checkbox. 
4. Now, choose Continue. 
5. Enter your Mac’s administrator password and click OK.
6. Once the uninstallation is complete, select Finish.
