You are able to download multiple eSIM profiles for use on any iPhone that supports eSIM. If your iPhone is unlocked, you should choose from several mobile phone plans.

By scanning the QR code that your carrier gave you, you can set up an eSIM to make sure that your identity is encrypted. You may either use the iPhone app of your carrier to set up the eSIM, or enter the data manually. You are permitted to also transfer an eSIM from your previous iPhone.
- Open the Camera app and scan the QR code that is given to you.
- If you see a message saying that your cell plan has been detected, tap on it.
- Tap on the Continue button at the bottom of the screen to finish.
- Tap on the Add Cellular Plan button.
- Anyone who wants to use the mobile network should be prompted to enter the E SIM number that your carrier provided.
When iOS 13 and later are released, some carriers may allow you to pick a plan that you can install. Contact your carrier and find out more.
If you assume that there is a plan that was assigned to you, you should do these steps:

- When you receive a notification that your carrier has an available cellular plan, tap it.
- In the settings app, tap on the carrier cellular plan, and choose the one you want to install.
- Tap on the Continue button at the bottom of the screen to finish.
- It is necessary to make a call to verify that your iPhone is connected to the Internet. In the event that you are unable to make a call, you can always contact your carrier.
- There is a possibility that the plan that you activated will be replaced by the plan on the physical sim. If so, delete that physical sim.
If you decide to upgrade to the new iPhone, scan the QR code that your carrier sent to you. Or you can use the iPhone app that your carrier offers you, or you can install the mobile plan that your carrier assigned to you. It is recommended that you activate the cellular plan on your new iPhone, and the plan that you used on your previous iPhone is not activated.
If you cannot set up your own eSIM:
- You should make sure that your carrier and other carriers support eSIM.
- Then slide downward from the upper-right corner of the screen to open the Control Center. Make sure that the status bar for your carrier shows up. If that does not work, you might try turning airplane mode on and off.
- Also go to settings, to general, and to about. There you can look for any number under the EID (External ID) number. If you do not have any of these numbers, you can always contact Apple support.
- If you are still not able to set up your eSIM, then you should contact your carrier.
Remove your eSIM:
If you want to completely erase your identity, you must do the following steps:
- So, go to the settings.
- Tap on the data plan that you are using, cellular or mobile.
- Tap on the plan that you want to erase.
- Tap on the tab to remove Cellular Plan.
