Artlist licenses music via a pay-per-view model that allows artists to maintain control over the content they publish. It was the only online company to offer completely free downloads and use of all its services for a set price, either a month or a year. All music you get is from the internet. It is all purely free and can apply to any project.
The Artist Library is a massive collection of music; you can listen to all the songs that are in the catalog and choose any you like. Artlist finds the best music by all kinds of different artists, and it showcases a lot of different places and styles of music – everything you might want to hear is here. The sound quality is fantastic.
If your account is free, you can view watermark-free previews of songs. These are songs that are meant for your own use only. You cannot share them with others.
It’s a great way to try out the site and to see what it has to offer if you want to become a member. Using the files from the catalog is royalty- free.

You may think that your subscription to Artlist is “unlimited”, but you cannot save over 40 songs or 100 SFX. If you exceed your allowance for each day, you will receive a message on your phone encouraging you to come back the following day.
If your library subscription is canceled, you cannot play any more songs and/ or sounds. If you purchase an Artlist subscription and suddenly decide that you want to cancel it, you will be given a full refund. You can use the money you paid to purchase the subscription for any project that you like.
If after buying an Artlist subscription, you decide that you no longer want it, you can have it refunded to your credit card or PayPal. You will not be refunded for the songs or SFX you downloaded (unless you request a refund). Remember: If you are a guest, you cannot use the songs or sound effects you have got by downloading something as large as the Artlist.
To cancel your subscription, you need to contact Artlist Customer Support team at support@artlist.io requesting the cancelation of your subscription
If it is necessary to cancel your membership, do this:
- Click on the three dots displayed to the left of the box that says “Renew My Membership”.
- Click the arrows next to the information that will allow you to cancel the upcoming subscription.
- Click on the three dots next to your payment information, then select Manage Subscription. Click on Manage Subscriptions.
- Check when you will receive your bill and if you want to stop receiving it, send an email to hi@artlist.io.
You should also get a confirmation email with a link to cancel the service.
For support, send an email to support@artlist.io describing the problem that you are having or a question that you have.
You can change your mind and end your subscription at any time and receive a full refund. Within 14 calendar days of purchasing the subscription, and/ or re-charging the subscription, you can no longer change the details in the billing area.
