1. Fire up, your web browser and visit youtube.com.
2. Login to your Google account if you haven’t already done it.
3. Now, click on your profile icon at the top right corner of the page.
4. A dropdown menu will appear, and you have to select the Settings option.
   
5.  On the settings page, click on the Advanced settings option at the bottom left corner of the page.
   
6. Scroll down and click on the DELETE CHANNEL option.
   
7. You will be prompt to verify for continuing your action. Enter your password in the given field, and click on Next.
8. You will see two options on the page, I want to hide my channel and I want to permanently delete my content.

To Hide your Youtube Channel

• •  Click on ‘I want to hide my channel‘ if you want to hide your entire channel contents including videos and playlist. But your channel’s name, page, arts and cons, likes and subscriptions will still remain transparent. You have to check all the checkboxes and click on HIDE MY CHANNEL.

• • A confirmation prompt will appear, and you have to select HIDE MY CONTENT.

To Delete Your Youtube Channel

• • Click on  ” I want to permanently delete my content” if you are all set to delete your entire channel and its overall data. Mark the checkbox and then click on the “DELETE MY CONTENT” button.
    
  • After that, a confirmation popup will show up, and you have to select DELETE MY CONTENT.

Deleting YouTube Video using Desktop

8. Agree to the terms and conditions of deleting a video from Youtube by marking the checkbox, and click on the DELETE VIDEO option.
   • If you want to download the video before deleting it, then click on the DOWNLOAD VIDEO option.

How to Delete Your YouTube Video using Mobile

This procedure will work on all your phones/tablets.

1. Open the YouTube app on your phone.
2. Tap on your account, which is at the top right corner of your screen.  (It should be the same Google account used to upload the video that you want to delete)
3. Now, tap on Your channel option.
   
4. Tap on the VIDEOS tab at the top of your screen.
   
5. You will see all the videos that you have uploaded on your channel. Tap on the three-dot icon (more options) of the respective video that you want to delete.
   
6. A popup menu will appear where you have to tap the Delete option.
   
7. A confirmation popup will appear, and you have to tap on OK.
