Wired connections can be used in places where there is a direct line between the computer and the network.

However, there are times when you might want to delete your network connections. For example, if you have used the connection for a long time and you do not need it anymore or if you want to upgrade your operating system.

Another reason why you might want to delete your network connections is that you want to use another one. In this case, you can simply do the following:

  1. Click on the Start button and then click on the Control Panel.
  2. On the Control Panel, click on Network and Internet Connections.
  3. You will see a list of all the network connections that you have created. To delete one of them, select it and then click on Delete. This will delete the connection but it will not remove any files that are in the folder that is associated with it.

However, you can also delete all your network connections by clicking on Delete All Network Connections on the same screen.

  1. If you want to use another network connection, simply select it and click on Set up a new connection or choose an existing one from the drop-down menu in the upper right corner of this window.

Choose from those available connections that are currently connected to your computer or to connect a new one. This can be done even if you have deleted some of them.

They might still be connected to your computer and therefore will be shown as active when you select them in this window.

You can also use the Windows Network Connections Control Panel to find out which network connections are active on your computer. You can do this by clicking on the Start button and then clicking on the Control Panel.

On the Control Panel, click on Network and Internet Connections. This will open a window where you will see all the network connections that are currently active on your computer. You can also see the name of each connection, its status, and its state as active or inactive in this window.

Is It Different from Removing Network Adapters?

If you want to remove a network adapter from your computer, go to Control Panel > Network and Internet Connections > right-click on the network adapter that you want to remove and then click on Delete.

You can also use this method if you want to add a new network adapter or change its name.
