If you have a Linux desktop computer, you can use different themes and customize the appearance of your computer according to your taste.

Delete History in Ubuntu Linux

The easiest way to delete the history on your Ubuntu operating system is by using a terminal application. This is what I would recommend because this method will be more familiar to most people who use Ubuntu.

If you have never used a terminal application before, then some tutorials will help you learn how to use a terminal application for Linux. To access the terminal application, simply open up a terminal window and type in this command: “history”.

You will see all of your past commands that were entered into your terminal window and saved as a text file in the .bash_history file located in your home directory (the directory where all of your files are stored). To delete them, enter history -d <line number>.
